Welcome Back!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

As the summer begins to wind down (I know, it’s tooooo early 🙁 ) the Booster Club is busy getting ready to raise funds for the coming year! The Booster Club is an all inclusive one here at Central, we don’t raise money solely for our Athletic Department, rather we make our funds available to ALL groups/clubs/teams on campus. We are proud of our “Inclusive” history and will continue it! There are many ways we raise money and all of them can always use volunteers. We have opportunities big and small to fit your schedule! We welcome you all back and invite you to attend the first Booster Meeting of the year to learn about us, learn about opportunities for you to get involved and ways your student’s team/club/activity can earn additional funds! Last year we gave back over $50K in various ways, we want to aim higher this year!

Here a just a few ways to “get involved”

  • Volunteer on the Booster Club Board
  • Volunteer to work events selling Spirit Wear or Concessions
    • We Sell Spirit Wear during Distribution Days, Home Football Games, and periodically during the year for special events and Basketball Season
    • We Operate Concession Stands indoors and outdoors for most of the School Year this is our biggest source of income and it takes a lot of hands!
    • We host a yearly “Game Night” trivia event, this takes many volunteers in various forms!
    • We will be hosting a Harlem Wizards game this year in conjunction with all the local Jr High Schools, this is a major fundraiser that will needs a lot of help on Game Day!
  • Help your Coach/Activity Sponsor by being their Booster Club Liaison
  • Become a Family Patron
  • Become a Business Patron
  • Donate in any way you can, via goods/services or monetary for improvements to facilities such as Upgrades to our Concessions and Legacy Projects such as our current upgrade to the Flag Pole on the football field!

For details on any of these, please stop by the Spirit Wear Table during Distribution days, attend the Booster Meeting on September 4th at 7:30 PM in the School Library or email us at [email protected]
